Broadcast Media
Does your middle schooler dream of being on TV, or working behind the camera? In our Broadcast Media program, students learn how to write and produce news segments, and create a regular news show, the Meadowbrook Minute+, to share with the community.
Film
Middle School students learn filmmaking and participate in a range of projects, including making short films, PSAs, and documentaries. Each spring, students participate in the 48 Hour Film Project, an amateur filmmaking competition in Boston
Performing Arts
Theatre
Middle School students produce grade-level shows and there’s a part for everyone – actors, singers, special effects creators, set designers, and stage managers. Recent shows have included Shrek the Musical, Star Wars: the Empire Strikes Back, and Frozen Jr.
Music
Lower School students learn the art and joy of music starting in junior kindergarten. Simple instruments, singing, and performance are all part of the music curriculum.
Band and Orchestra
Middle School students who play instruments are invited to be part of band or orchestra, or rock band if they choose! Our talented musicians perform at assemblies, often providing a toe-tapping soundtrack to our school gatherings.
