Steps to Apply

Login to Ravenna to sign up for upcoming events and start or continue your application. - Submit the online inquiry form
Once you submit the form, you will be contacted by the school. - Have your calendar ready!

Complete all of the required fields on our application and submit it to Meadowbrook. Complete the online application form. - Send in required documents

Grade-Specific Guidelines
- Junior kindergarten (Jr-K) children should be four years old, and those entering senior kindergarten (Sr-K) should be five years old, by September 1 of their entry year.
- Our youngest visitors are required to participate in both a group visit and a one-on-one individual screening. The individual screening can happen at any time before the application deadline and can be scheduled through our office. The group visit happens after the application deadline and your child will be assigned to a visit time. Please speak with a member of our team for more details.
- Teacher recommendations and school progress reports are required by January 15, 2025. These should be uploaded directly by the teacher to the Ravenna Admissions Parent Portal. The forms will be found in the Parent Portal once you begin the application process.
Applications submitted after the deadlines will only be considered if space is available. Please call us for the latest information.
- Group Screenings are a great way for prospective students to meet each other, interact with teachers and learn more about Meadowbrook. The admissions staff and teachers run these screenings and have students participate in various grade appropriate activities. A group screening is required, and sign up is available on Ravenna.
- Current teacher recommendations and school progress reports are required by January 15, 2025. These should be uploaded directly by the teacher to the Ravenna Admissions Parent Portal. The forms will be found in the Parent Portal once you begin the application process.
- Standardized Testing for students applying to Grades 5-7 is required. We accept the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), and scores must be submitted by February 1, 2025. Our code for the ISEE testing program is: 222637. To register for the ISEE entrance exam online.

- Candidates for admission into sixth and seventh grade are asked to participate in the interview process with their parent or guardian.
- Group Screenings are a great way for prospective students to meet each other, interact with teachers and learn more about Meadowbrook. The admissions staff and teachers run these screenings and have students participate in various grade appropriate activities. A group screening is required for 6th and 7th grade applicants, and sign up is available on Ravenna.
- Standardized Testing for students applying to Grades 5-7 is required. We accept the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), and scores must be submitted by February 1st, 2025. Our code for the ISEE testing program is: 222637. To register for the ISEE entrance exam online.
- Current math and English teacher recommendations, as well as current and previous year school reports and transcripts, are required by February 1, 2025. These should be sent directly from the teacher to Meadowbrook's Admissions Office. The forms may be sent electronically through our online system, Ravenna.
- With rare exception, Meadowbrook does not admit students in the eighth grade.

Decisions
All applicant families are notified of an admissions decision by mail and email on March 7, 2025. Commitment decisions are due by April 10, 2025.
