Meet our Library Team
As instructional partners and information specialists, we strive to help students master multiple literacies (textual, visual, digital, and technological), learn critical thinking skills, and work toward self-realization through independent reading and research.
It all starts with Storytime, a cozy area designed for students in grades Junior Kindergarten through 1 to explore the wonderful world of children’s literature. In grade 2, students rotate through various Learning Centers, all of which help them learn essential library skills that help them dig deeper into their core curriculum. In grades 3 through 5, we work directly with classroom teachers and technology teachers to offer integrated instruction through project-based learning.
In grades 6 through 8, we partner with classroom teachers to help students find, synthesize, and create information. The Middle School’s collaborative study hall also takes place in the library, where students can work with their peers on homework assignments and ongoing projects.
