Swimming

The Meadowbrook Day Camp Swimming Program offers Red Cross swimming lessons each morning.  Each child’s swimming lessons are taught by certified Water Safety Instructors or Lifeguards and provide for frequent evaluations of progress and attend to each camper’s individual skills.

Free swim time is offered to each group in the afternoon so that the campers may enjoy the camp’s large heated pools twice each day.

Meadowbrook Day Camp’s pools were specifically designed as teaching pools and feature full width steps at the shallow end and graduated bottoms.  Each pool is temperature controlled and tested several times each day.
